the state of alternative music

this pitchfork madness is really pissing me off. there is a huge crowd listening to whatever pitchfork tells them to and who have no clue about the history of alternative music.

it seems people just start in the middle. we grew up and advanced slowly, changed styles, and established our taste. but now it seems so ready made.

indie music bores me, i hate the names of the bands, etc. it shows they've been working too hard.

of course sometimes a few bands come up that excite me but that's not too often.
i guess this was a pretty banal entry. i just wanted to express my anger

I generally agree. I believe in the joys of stupid music as much as the joys whatever is supposed to be 'cool'.
